Personal care home in Buford, Georgia

Well, my mom has been living at generous care personal care home for nearly a month now and I’m pleased with the results so far. There’s many things I can’t control, but I feel like she is in good hands with people who know how to deal with people who have Alzheimer’s disease and mobility limitations.

They have all the right equipment from comfortable chairs to electric hospital beds and lifts to move her between them. In addition to having two CNA’s working on staff, they also have the owner and his wife who also do a lot of work there too. I think this is above average.

They also helped me to apply for hospice care for my mother, which means a nurse sees her once a week and converses regularly with the doctor to adjust any medication’s. Then a CNA comes by five days a week and gives her a sponge bath, changes her in any other things he needs like wound care.

And she lives in a nice private room where we can come by every day and see her. There’s a big screen TV and three chair chairs to sit in plus her bed of course. She has her own closet to keep her things in.

They have a camera in the room where they can check to see if she’s sleeping through the night and the motion sensor helps them to know if she’s not and they will come in and check on her.

I feel very blessed that we found this place and it’s just two minutes around the corner from our house.
