Below are some pictures from my trip to Paris and the Eiffel Tower. A lot of people were telling me that Paris had become a lot more dangerous. It is true that perhaps similar to America there are new immigrants that have come there. There are many immigrants from Africa and in the Middle East. and the result is people feel like the way of life they knew has changed a lot because of the introduction of new people. Perhaps there is some additional crime there but I’m not sure about the statistics.
Even though I only had one day, I did enjoy getting to see the Eiffel Tower and some of the other historic places in Paris. Ivan stopped by a café and had a glass of wine and did a little work. If I were to go back, I would like to spend more time at the cafés in Paris.
I did find the hotel rooms were quite expensive. For $100. I had a very small room, and it was far from the central part of Paris. I think there are some great cities in Eastern Europe that are equally beautiful and more affordable. Budapest comes to mind.
But I also didn’t get a chance to see that much because I was only there for about two days. I have flew to Paris from Krakow, Poland on June 19, 2024 and flew from Paris to Los Angeles on June 21.
