Today was a relaxing day, and I enjoyed it very much. It wasn’t that different from other days, but had some nice surprises, and I was around good people. Here is a little run down:
- woke up and looked online (same as always). My wife said “Happy Birthay” and gave me a hug (she woke up a little after me)
- We went to the chiropractor (Lisa at Village Health) who is always so positive, and today was no different. It is always fun to go see her.
- We went to lunch at Seasons 52 by Perimeter Mall. This is one great restaurant. They gave me a free Rocky Road dessert.
- We went home and went for a walk.
- I also called James, and talked to him for a while about our plans for the rest of the year, and I was left feeling excited about the future of phpLD, as well some new ventures coming soon.
- My mother called and wished me a happy birthday and we chatted. I am going to see them on Saturday.
- I got a massage at Spa Sydell. This was my birthday present to myself. The therapist was named Shae, and she did an excellent job.
- I came home to find my wife had bought me two new shirts, and a massage tool that vibrates. I had told her not to get anything, but it was very nice of her, and I look forward to wearing my new shirts, and hopefully she will use the massager on me (and visa versa).
- We went to Avra Greek Restaurant. This is my current favorite. The food is amazing every time (been there three times), and they gave me a free Baklava.
- Our friend Jessie came by and gave me a cake and a keylime pie for my birthday. They put a candle on the cake and sang happy birthday, and then we walked around, and talked about planning a party soon.
- Now I’m here writing about the day, and have a nice bottle of wine.
It was a great day, and I wanted to write and remember it. 😊 I hope that if you read this, you will think about having a great day too. We shouldn’t always wait for our birthday to do nice things for ourselves.
